La Sapinière Eté/Summer 2012
Story and pictures by Sophie Arès-Pilon
The is the story of one of the many walks taken in a forest I fell in love with many years ago. A forest one of my brothers was born in. A forest that was my backyard for a few years when I wee little. A forest my grand-maman and grand-papa Arès gifted many to play in, explore, walk through, get lost in, pick nettles and wild raspberries, capture wildlife and all around enjoy its natural beauty. Not to mention the smell you are greeted with when you arrive at La Sapinière. This place has no doubt left so many with such great memories. This is just one of those memories among so many.
